My lil man (5mths) has gone from drinking 250ml...

My lil man (5mths) has gone from drinking 250mls 4x a day to 100 mls 5x a day. Im guessing it his teeth, but it's rather stressful when suddenly his routine changes and he cries when he sees the bottle. I started him on solids 2 weeks ago and he loves it- but it has made him not want no way near as much milk??? Not sure what i should do? Ive been told to stop giving him solids or only a few teaspoons a day?? Any comments or advice? Katharine
